International meeting launch and presentation of the project

• Participation: The event involved 60 citizens, including 3 participants from Kostrzyn nad Odra (Poland), 5 from Comunidade Intermunicipal do Alto Alentejo (Portugal), 3 from Newry, Mourne and Down District (United Kingdom), 3 from Petrosino (Italy), 4 from Zemplínske Hámre (Slovakia) and 42 from Vimianzo (Spain).  
• Location/ Dates: The event took place in Vimianzo, Spain, from 15/03/2016 to 18/03/2016.
• Short description:  The aim of the event was the project launch, its official presentation and Kickoff meeting. During the third day (on 17th of April), the Open day “Addressing immigration, emigration and social exclusion in European rural communities” was celebrated and the last day (on 18th of April), the Roundtable “Action Plan to identify the needs regarding European rural mobility; preparation of the second international encounter” took place.
