As local public authority, the Municipality of Vimianzo serves the needs and demands of its citizens with quality criteria and public service so that all can benefit, seeking equality and universality in the provision of these services which are developed through its 4 departments: Economic promotion, culture, linguistic normalisation and education; Finance, works, planning and personnel; Social welfare and equality; and Rural action and environment. The Municipality intends to provide to its citizens the major number of resources in order to solve their concerns and to respond to their needs, trying to actively involve them in the initiatives promoted by the entity in fields like employment, social affairs, etc.
 
As promoter of this project, it has the technical and financial capacity for its implementation, being supported by the extensive expertise of the organization and its staff in the execution of activities that promote local development and social integration of its citizens. Located in Galicia, it has an area of 187, 27 km² and a population of 7.849

Urzad Miasta Kostrzyn nad Odra– POLAND

The Town Hall Kostrzyn nad Odrą is an organizational commune entity the goal of which is to help the Town Mayor realize City Council regulations and the town’s tasks determined by the state law. Thus, the town is responsible for solving varied social problems, motivating to develop and encouraging to further education of adults as well as it acts to serve local communities for a better social and economic cohesion. One of the Town Kostrzyn key departments is the Office of European Integration and International Cooperation tasks of which are integrational processes in Europe and, as the name indicates it, international cooperation.

As a Town Hall Kostrzyn nad Odrą deals with the rural issues, is in charge of solving social problems, motivating to develop and encouraging to further education of adults as well as it serves its communities being at the same time a crucial mediator on the international platform acting for and within Europe and its integration. Located in Lubusz Voivodeship in Gorzów County, the municipality has 19.952 inhabitants and an area of 47,14 km².


Comunidade Intermunicipal do Alto Alentejo – PORTUGAL

The Comunidade Intermunicipal do Alto Alentejo (CIMAA) is the Association of 15 Municipalities of Alto Alentejo (Alter do Chão, Arronches, Avis, Campo Maior, Castelo de Vide, Crato, Elvas, Fronteira, Gavião, Marvão, Monforte, Nisa, Ponte de Sor, Portalegre and Sousel). CIMAA is a public entity with about 17 employees from different areas: planning, regional development, tourism, environment, sport, training and education and social economy.

The Alto Alentejo region is one of the most threatened regions at national level not only in demographic but also economic terms, calling into question their social sustainability, with the smallest population density and the highest loss of it, in the country. The intermunicipal community covers 15 rural municipalities in the Alto Alentejo Region and has the seat in Portalegre.It has a pop. of 118.410 and an area of 6.249 km².

CIMAA has an extensive experience in international cooperation projects in a wide range of areas such as social inclusion, active ageing, social economy, energy, among others.

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, one of 11 new super councils, was created on 1 April 2015. It is made up of the former Newry & Mourne and Down District Council areas and aims to provide civic leadership, deliver local services and ensure the increase of prosperity and quality of life for local residents. The Council provides essential public services like community planning, environmental health, economic development. With significant knowledge & expertise in the field of integration of migrants, it is also responsible for promoting equality, good relations & tackling discrimination within the area.

It is administrating an area that is growing rapidly both in economic and demographic terms. It has relatively large populations of both EU migrant workers (largely Polish & Lithuanian) and migrant workers on work permits.Migrants are filling significant gaps in the labour force, providing skilled workers in the health service and in engineering as well as unskilled factory labour. With a population of around 171,500 and a coastline of 100 miles, it is the 3rd largest council area in Northern Ireland spanning from Crossmaglen in South Armagh to Saintfield in South Down.

The Municipality of Petrosino is a municipal local administration that represents and serves the interests of the people who reside in, providing them with civic leadership, deliver local services and work in partnership with non-profit civil society organisations in order to ensure the well-being of its citizens. Its initiatives involve immigrants and needy citizens, and aim to support social inclusion, integration and equal opportunities. The immigrant community is formed by 23 nationalities and is well integrated in the social context.  
 
The Municipality is a crucial point for sustainable and alternative tourism. It represents an area able of reconciling the needs of young people with rural and maritime traditions. Largely agricultural, it is the most wine producing Municipality in Italy and it contributes significantly to the production of fine wines thanks to the link between vineyards and sea that makes the tasting of local products a distinct experience. Located on the western tip of Sicily, along 10 km of coast between Marsala and Mazara del Vallo, Petrosino has a total population of  around 7.760.

Obec Zemplínske Hámre municipality is represented by a village situated in rural area of east Slovakia. The village was founded in 19th century thanks to ore mining on the root of the Vihorlat Mountains and currently is well known mainly for its location and tourist traffic potential. The village is an entrance gate to a protected landscape area of Vihorlat mountains, which as an official World Heritage Site (UNESCO) is visited frequently due to impressive natural volcanic monuments, fauna and flora.  

Zemplínske Hámre is a member of a public-private association named LAG (Local action group) “Pod Vihorlatom”, which represents 32 municipalities of Snina and Humenné districts, with the total population of 44 898 inhabitants, living on area of  406,51 km². Other members are private companies and NGOs from region, interested in the topic of regional development. The Mayor of Zemplínske Hámre is currently a chairman of the LAG and is willing to involve each member municipality in the project. With a population of 1271 people, it is the 4th largest municipality in the Snina district; it will collaborate with the 32 municipalities of LAG.
